SiteKiln — Your rights on site. In plain English.
    SiteKiln

Reach Australian tradespeople at the exact moment they're making a decision.

SiteKiln is where sole traders, small firms, subbies and apprentices go when they need a real answer. Sponsor a topic area. Category-exclusive, trust-preserving, no-competition guarantee. Sponsorship is a placement, not a lead-buy — we are unapologetically on the side of Australian SMEs.

Most trade marketing is interruption: spots during the footy, leaflets in the ute, banner ads ignored in 300ms. SiteKiln is different. When someone opens "Builder Won't Pay" at 11pm, they're not browsing — they're solving a problem. A single relevant sponsor, mentioned once, matters.

SiteKiln is the most comprehensive free resource for Australian construction workers — 201 guides, 26 templates, 37 free tools and 36 printable reference cards covering payment, contracts, safety, GST and tax, insurance, disputes, pricing, the NCC and more.

Every visitor works in or around Australian construction. Sole traders, small firms, apprentices, site managers, subcontractors — the people who buy insurance, tools, training, accounting software, legal services and utes. Your exact customers, reading content they trust, at the moment they need your product most.

We don't run banner ads, ad networks or programmatic placements. SiteKiln is funded by a small number of category-exclusive sponsors — one per section, clearly labelled, no editorial control. Your competitors will never appear alongside your name. That's a guarantee, not a feature.

    What sponsorship looks like

A note on pricing. We publish the tier structure and what each tier includes, but not the dollar figures. Rates depend on category, slot availability and term length, and we'd rather quote you accurately than post a number that's wrong for your situation. Founding rates are meaningfully lower than standard. Send an enquiry and we'll come back within one working day with a figure.

    Section Bundle (most popular)

Your brand across an entire topic area — every guide, every matching tool, every matching reference card.

    • "In partnership with [your brand]" on every guide in the section
    • Your logo and link on the section index page
    • Your logo on matching free tools ("This tool is brought to you by...")
    • Your logo on matching printable reference cards — the ones tradies laminate and keep in the ute for months
    • No-Competition Guarantee: no other business in your category appears anywhere in your section

    Full Category Ownership

Everything in the Section Bundle, plus:

    • Your logo on the matching Document Hub template category
    • Quarterly social media mention (LinkedIn + Instagram)
    • Complete ownership of every touchpoint in your category

    Trade Guide Sponsorship

16 trade-specific first-year guides. Not a bundle — each one is a separate, exclusive sponsorship.

Every trade guide is a single, definitive guide that a new electrician, plumber, scaffolder or gas fitter will read in their first year — when they're choosing their tools, their insurance, their RTO, and their suppliers for the first time.

One sponsor per trade. No competitors. Your brand, your link, your name — on the guide that shapes their first buying decisions.

That's not an ad. That's being the brand they remember when they walk into the wholesaler for the first time.

    Document Builder Sponsorship

    Premium

SiteKiln has document builders for SWMS, JSAs, method statements, handover packs, site diaries, toolbox talks, scaffold inspections, defect lists, variation orders, waste tracking notes, equipment registers and media packs.

Tradies fill in their details and generate professional PDFs. Those PDFs get submitted to clients, principal contractors and building certifiers. Your brand goes with them — beyond the website, into the real world, onto desks you'd never reach with a banner ad.

    • Your logo on every generated PDF — in the sponsor header, seen by everyone who receives the document
    • "Supported by [your brand]" branding on the builder page itself
    • Multiplied reach: each PDF is seen by the tradesperson, their client, and often the head contractor or certifier — 3–5× the eyeballs per generation
    • Category-exclusive: one sponsor per document type. Nobody else on your SWMS, your method statements, or your handover packs
    • Documents are kept, filed and referred back to — your logo has a shelf life of months, not milliseconds

Who we'll take a sponsor from

We vet every sponsor before saying yes. The basic test: are you a real business serving the Australian construction industry, with a product or service tradies actually need, that won't embarrass us in twelve months' time? Registered ABN, current public liability cover where relevant, no current ACCC or Fair Trading enforcement action, and a contact human who isn't a media-buying agency. Pricing is shared after the vetting conversation.

Why this is different from everything else you spend money on

    Google Ads

You bid against your competitors. Every click costs real money. Your ad disappears the moment you stop paying. The customer sees four other ads on the same page.

    hipages / Oneflare

You're listed alongside every competitor in your area. Leads cost per-job. The customer is comparison-shopping by definition.

    Trade magazines

Expensive. Your full-page ad sits next to your competitor's full-page ad. Readership is declining.

    SiteKiln

Your brand is the only one in your category. Your competitors are locked out by contract. Your logo sits alongside trusted, legislation-backed content that people actually came here to read. And it doesn't disappear when you stop paying for clicks.

What sponsors get, and what they don't.

    • What you get: Category exclusivity. Direct in-context exposure at the moment a tradesperson is solving a problem your product or service answers.
    • What you don't get: Any influence over guide content. Any competing brand in your topic. Any dark-pattern retargeting of SiteKiln readers. Any data on individual visitors.
    • What the tradesperson gets: A sponsor badge they can see, a sponsor they can ignore, and a guide that doesn't change because you paid.

    Founding sponsors

We're looking for a small number of founding sponsors to launch with — Australian brands that want to be first, not followers.

    • Reduced rates locked for the first 6 months
    • A permanent "Founding Sponsor" badge on their placement — even after rates move to standard
    • First right of refusal if a competitor approaches us for any other section
    • The credibility of being associated with SiteKiln from day one

Founding sponsor slots are limited by design. Once a category is taken, your competitor can't buy in.

    Who we won't work with

Not every brand is right for SiteKiln. We won't accept sponsorship from:

    • Payday lenders, SACC providers or high-cost credit
    • Claims management firms
    • Data brokers or surveillance tech
    • Companies that profit from the problems our guides help people solve
    • Anyone who wants editorial control over our content

If it conflicts with our mission of helping Australian tradies, it's a no.
