    ACT building regulator: Access Canberra (construction occupations)

    In the ACT, Access Canberra administers construction-occupations licensing (builders, and electrical, plumbing and gas work) and handles building complaints, under the ACT's construction and building laws.

    Check or apply for a licence, or lodge a complaint: call 13 22 81 or use the Access Canberra website.

    Building approval is issued by a licensed building certifier against the National Construction Code, separate from your occupational licence.
