NT WorkSafe: contact, what they enforce, and how to report

    Last updated 6 Jun 2026

NT WorkSafe is the work health and safety regulator for the Northern Territory, administering the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 (NT).

Report an unsafe workplace or get advice: call 1800 019 115.

Notifiable incident — report immediately: a death, serious injury or illness, or a dangerous incident must be reported to NT WorkSafe straight away and the site preserved. Check the NT WorkSafe website for the notification line and online form.

NT WorkSafe runs inspections, issues improvement and prohibition notices, and supports health and safety representatives. It also administers the Territory's workers compensation scheme.
