    WorkSafe WA: contact, what they enforce, and how to report

    WorkSafe WA is the work health and safety regulator for Western Australia, administering the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) — WA moved to the WHS model in 2022.

    General enquiries or to report unsafe work: call 1300 307 877.

    Notifiable incident — report immediately (24/7): a death, serious injury or illness, or an immediately dangerous incident must be reported on 1800 678 198, and the site preserved until told otherwise.

    WorkSafe WA carries out inspections, issues improvement and prohibition notices, and supports health and safety representatives. Workers compensation is separate (WorkCover WA).
