    📅 Tax & Lodgements

    • 30 June — end of the financial year. Buy and install eligible tools/equipment before today for this year's instant asset write-off, and make any deductible personal super contributions in time to be received.
    • Finalise your logbook, mileage and receipts for the year.

    • Back up your business records before the new year ticks over.

    What the law actually says

    • The big recurring dates are quarterly: BAS and PAYG instalments, and super guarantee, fall due on the 28th after each quarter (28 Oct, 28 Feb, 28 Apr, 28 Jul).
    • TPAR is due 28 August; individual tax returns 31 October if you self-lodge; the financial year ends 30 June. A registered tax/BAS agent can extend some dates.
    • Guidance only — confirm your own due dates in ATO Online or with your agent.
